Mwamba Okoro, MSW

Mwamba loves the fact that in her role she is able to assist families and children with being connected to life-changing care management services and HCBS, which for most families is a complex system and daunting to navigate.

Mwamba is very passionate about early childhood intervention, having personally experienced what a difference being connected to services (such as speech therapy) early can make. Mwamba volunteers at her children's schools as well as at her local church parish. She holds a Master's Degree in Social Work from Adelphi University and also a Bachelor of Science from City University of New York.
