Chaya Goffin

With a robust background in social services, a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Touro University, and extensive experience in child-focused healthcare, Chaya brings a wealth of expertise to her role at Bright Futures. Beginning her career at Johns Hopkins, Chaya honed her skills in various aspects of pediatric care before advancing at Yeled V’Yalda as their HCBS Placement Supervisor.

Chaya’s passion and breadth of knowledge specifically lies in working with medically fragile/developmentally delayed children and young adults. This led Chaya to Make-A-Wish, where she helped fulfill dreams and created lasting memories for children with chronic and terminal illnesses.

Currently, as the Assistant Director for the Health Home program at Bright Futures, Chaya oversees initiatives that provide comprehensive care coordination for children with complex medical and mental health needs. In this role, Chaya works closely with care managers to ensure that each child receives integrated healthcare services.

On weekends, Chaya has hands-on roles at Yedei Chesed and HASC. She works both one on one and in group settings to help their residents gain independent living skills and increase their communication skills while building life long connections.
